Lunchtime learning: Explore the Papatūānuku Paradigm with Dr. Kathie Irwin

Earlier this year, we were delighted to begin collaborating with Dr. Kathie Irwin and Associates on developing our Gender Analysis with a Te Ao Māori Lens toolkit. We’re equally thrilled that Kathie has since joined CEWH as our Kaihautū, bringing her wisdom, mana and vision to this important mahi.

We’re excited to invite you to a free one-hour webinar where Dr. Irwin will introduce the Papatūānuku Paradigm, a toolkit she has designed to support and strengthen the work of CEWH and the wider sector in addressing the complex issue of women’s homelessness.

This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with the tool in its preliminary form and share your reflections on how it resonates in practice, and how it could be most useful in your work. Attendees will receive the preliminary version in advance, with an invitation to explore its application and contribute their perspectives during the session.

Details on how to register will follow. For now, please save the date:

Date: Wednesday, 8 October
Time: 12–1pm

Ngā mihi nui Kathie, for your mana, your wisdom and your wairua.
