Welcoming Amanda Kelly: Our Collective Impact Lead
Amanda Kelly
We are delighted to welcome Amanda Kelly to the Coalition to End Women’s Homelessness as our Collective Impact Lead
Amanda brings a wealth of experience in policy, practice, and community development, and will play a critical role in driving the next stage of our mahi. Currently leading Policy and Practice at Community Housing Aotearoa (CHA), Amanda joins CEWH on secondment.
Originally from Ireland, Amanda has called Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland home since 2007. Amanda’s pepeha
In her role Amanda will be working closely alongside our Kaihautū Kathie Irwin, to implement CEWH’s gender toolkit (a frontline resource which is currently at the wānanga stage, and will offer a gendered analysis through a Te ao Māori lens), establish communities of practice, and foster engagement with advocates and researchers both here and overseas.
Amanda will also lead the creation of practical resources for the sector - including webinars, events, and tools designed to support organisations in adopting gendered responses to homelessness.
At CHA, Amanda was instrumental in strengthening sector collaboration and supporting organisations to work collectively for better housing and homelessness outcomes. Her expertise and dedication will be invaluable as CEWH continues to grow its Policy and Practice pou and support the sector with gender-responsive approaches to ending homelessness.
“I’m looking forward to working with the Coalition to End Women’s Homelessness to support a gendered approach to homelessness,” says Amanda.
We are thrilled to have Amanda join our team, bringing her insight, leadership, and commitment to this critical kaupapa.
